When Hope Ministries Africa Network moved into the Omoga Community in Ekiti State, South West Nigeria, there was not a single school there. We had reported this in one of our posts that the community lacked a formal school. The children go to farm when they come of age or they just generally play away their future.
Last December, year 2024, Hope Ministries Africa Network applied to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and we were granted permission and given approval via a letter dated the 17th of December, 2024, signed by the Acting Permanent Secretary, Mr. Fagbohun O.O. for opening of Omoga Community’s first public primary school.
